Michael qualified in 1993 and joined a renowned engineering firm in Nantucket Island, U.S.A.

This afforded him the opportunity to turn theory into practice and to gain an in depth insight into the many and varying facets of Engineering, from field work to planning legislation to design. The experience proved invaluable.

Returning to Ireland in 2002, Michael founded O’Mahony Enginneers and Surveyors.
